The next phase.
I decided once a quiet revolution edition is complete to take the copper plates into new territory. In other words, I have layered another interactive process over the previous story.
I have chosen to make this more intimate, and personal to me so that I might reengage with my artist self while in communion with the marks made before by the happy people spinning tops.
The first 4 of these prints come from the quartered plate called «Topsy Foundation». These prints are called «Lucid sedation» which is a state that can be acquired through Quiet Contemplation/ meditation/ hypnosis and is used for the medical reasons when a person cannot be put under.
I believe that after years of living with a quiet revolution print and contemplating them for hours I have had the chance to connect to (disconnect?) such a state in myself; Like staring at the night sky!
